| This year (2020) has seen even more surprises. |
| In January I discovered that Vibraphone were active in Johannesburg SA. see 514. Then a new stethoscope type the Phonendoscope. see also #515 Next I stumbled on a Willen mechanical hearing tester Later in January a new conversation tube turned up in Akron Ohio. |
| In February I found the Rein Chair. Another new maker surfaced called Bausophon, I bought their telescopic 2pc Late in February I found a CCO telescopic 3pc |
| In March an unusual trumpet appeared with a new maker (Kohler) and an unusual shape Later in the month a completely new shape appeared on Ebay with a handle and at a great price. |
| It is June and at the time of writing there are 3 Model 40 Rochhausen ear trumepts on Ebay. One at £310, one at £311 and the last at £482 !!!! I have 4 of these in various colourways, the last one I bought at £89. I just found one on Ebay with a hole grille instead of bars and bought it for £50. This has to be a rare prototype - and they all missed it ! |
